Spelling Bees

which is sponsored by the Houghton Mifflin Company is for 4th, 5th
and 6th grade students.

Service Hours
7th and 8th grade students
share their time and talent by serving others in their school, parish,
and community. As part of their Religion curriculum, students complete
a minimum of fifteen hours of service per trimester. Service activities
range from shoveling snow for elderly neighbors to visiting with the
sick at Fair Acres or the mentally challenged at the Cardinal Krol
Center. Although students receive a grade for completion of these
hours, the greatest reward is the one they receive by helping others.
As the students have learned through their experiences, no act of
kindness, however small, is ever wasted. |
