School is happy to be able to provide care for your children after the regular
school hours from 2:30 dismissal until 5:25 p.m., right here in our own school!
Aware of
the needs and pressures of family and work responsibilities, a team of our own
very dedicated teachers and staff manage and supervise your child for a snack
(provided by the school); homework (Grades 2 and higher); and some playtime
(outside, if weather permits). Note: if you do not want your child to
work on homework assignments in AfterCare, please let us know in writing.
Although it’s not exactly home, we try to make it relaxed, fun and comfortable!
FEES:
2:30 to 4:30 p.m. - $8.00 per child, per day - ($12.00 per day for 2 or more
children)
2:30 to 5:25 p.m. - $12.00 per child, per day - ($16.00
per day for 2 or more children)
Fees are
non-refundable and may be paid weekly, monthly or, as an emergency need arises,
daily. All children must be preregistered to attend AfterCare and
payment must be made prior to the service. No child should arrive at
AfterCare solely on verbal instruction to the child from a parent/guardian.
If a permission form is not sent in for your child, you must
contact the school office by phone prior to school dismissal to authorize
your child to go to AfterCare. This policy is essential for your child’s safety
so that school personnel know where to direct your child upon dismissal and for
AfterCare staff to be expecting your child’s arrival. Schedules for the week are
made each Monday morning, so payment is due at that time. If you phone the main
office and notify them that your child is attending AfterCare, then payment
should be made at the time of pick-up or, sent in with your child the next
school day. If necessary, you may pre-register your child at anytime on an
as-needed-basis.
The after
school program will begin on Monday, September 14th, the first
full week of school. Regretfully, because the program is run, in part, by our
teachers, there is no AfterCare on half-days for faculty meetings or on
in-service days. Please check your calendar so that you can make alternate
plans for those few days. Also, if there is a weather-related, emergency early
dismissal, the AfterCare program is canceled.
Please
be sure to complete the AfterCare Release and Emergency Contact Information
form. This
very necessary information will be kept on file throughout the school year, so
please keep AfterCare informed, in writing, of any changes.
