Aftercare Program
St. Joseph School is happy to be able to provide care for your children after the regular school hours from 2:30 dismissal until 5:25 p.m., right here in our own school!
Aware of the needs and pressures of family and work responsibilities, a team of our own very dedicated teachers and staff, manage and supervise your child for a snack (provided by the school), homework and some playtime (outside, if weather permits). If you do not want your child to work on home assignments in aftercare, please let us know. Not exactly home, but we try to make it relaxed and comfortable!
FEES: 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. - $8.00 per child, per day - ($12.00 for 2 or more) 2:30 to 5:25 p.m. - $12.00 per child, per day - ($16.00 for 2 or more)
Fees are non-refundable and may be paid weekly, monthly or, as an emergency need arises, daily. However, payment must be made prior to the service. Schedules for the week are made on Monday mornings and so payment is due at that time.
The after school program will begin on Monday, September 8th, the first full week of school. Regretfully, because the program is run, in part, by our teachers, there is no aftercare on half day faculty meeting or in-service days. Please check your calendar so that you can make alternate plans for those few days. Also, if there is a weather related emergency early dismissal, the After School Care program is canceled.
Please be sure to complete the release and emergency information form. This very necessary information will be kept on file throughout the school year, so please keep us informed, in writing, of any changes. For a copy of this form, click here.
After School Care forms should be sent into school in an envelope marked “Aftercare” with your payment of cash or check, payable to St. Joseph School. If you need additional forms, you can obtain copies by clicking here.
